1982 VW Rabbit - Engine Compartment From Driver's Side
Ah, the slimy guts of the beast. And yes, they are a bit slimy, this engine is pretty worn out and leaks from several places. Everything's still in good working order, though. I don't know who painted the valve cover red, but I think it should be green. Red is for racing, green is for environment and the color of diesel fuel pumps.
